Dr. O'Connor has taught at Gonzaga University since 2004. A specialist in Russian history, he teaches courses on the Russian Revolution, the Stalin Era, Hitler’s Germany, the Baltic states, and Russia since 1945. He is also the author of several...
Dr. O'Connor has taught at Gonzaga University since 2004. A specialist in Russian history, he teaches courses on the Russian Revolution, the Stalin Era, Hitler’s Germany, the Baltic states, and Russia since 1945. He is also the author of several books on the Baltic states, having recently completed The House of Hemp and Butter: A History of Old Riga, which will be published by Northern Illinois University Press in November 2019. Dr. O’Connor’s personal interests include international travel, disc golf, Sasquatch sightings, full-contact wiffleball, building trebuchets, and Falkland War reenactments.
