Film Studies at Gonzaga will help to prepare students for a wide variety of careers with film and media companies, archives, and festivals, as well as careers in media law, journalism, film criticism, and teaching. In addition, students will develop skills in textual analysis and criticism, aesthetic appreciation, multimodal communication, and a sensitivity to cultural, political, and ethical values that will serve well them in virtually any future career.
