The Master of Accountancy (M.Acc) program prepares students to be professionals with impact. Our promise is that our graduates will be the most technical among their peers as they embark on a career in accounting. We accomplish this through an innovative curriculum based on continuous feedback from employers, alumni, and our Advisory Board, which is comprised of practice leaders in a variety of roles across the United States. In addition to a deep exposure to the application of accounting rules and regulations, students learn technological and communication skills essential to success in today’s client-services profession.
Students can complete their M.Acc degree in two semesters at Gonzaga. M.Acc, MS.Tax, and MBA courses are offered simultaneously in-person and remotely. Students may complete the entire M.Acc program remotely.
M.Acc students complete 10 core classes (25 core credits) and 5 elective credits, for a total 30 credits to earn their graduate degree.

- Power Query/Power Pivot: 2 credits
- Financial Accounting for Income Taxes: 3 credits
- Data Analysis for Accountants (Tableau): 2 credits
- Advanced Analytics for Accounting (Power BI): 3 credits
- Financial Statement Analysis: 3 credits
- Sustainability Accounting: 1 credit
- Accounting Theory: 3 credits
- Professional Ethics: 2 credits
- Audit Research & Practice: 3 credits
- Corporate Governance: 3 credits
Electives (5 credits)
In additional to M.Acc elective courses, students may take elective courses offered in the Master of Science in Taxation (MS.Tax) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs to meet their personal and professional goals.
