Monica Fishburn is the Engineering Manager at Haakon Industries, a custom HVAC manufacturer. She has 6 years of experience in custom manufacturing and process engineering. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Monica attended Gonzaga University where she completed her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. While in school, Monica competed in Division I cross country and track & field as a Zag.
In 2023, Monica stepped into a management position overseeing the engineering team at Haakon. Her current responsibilities include building a high-performing engineering team, managing plant engineering support, and leading all engineering initiatives in production such as new equipment specification and implementation and day-to-day engineering operations support. Monica is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Business Administration at Gonzaga University as she seeks to become a more well-rounded strategic leader and expand her perspective. In her free time, Monica is an avid runner, outdoors enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her husband and dog.
